I was born in the coastal town of Águilas, province of Murcia, South-East Spain. Both my parents work in tourism and love to travel: it was only natural that I took after them.

Plus, foreign languages run through my veins: my mom’s family is part Belgian and my dad’s part French (hence my last name, Jaouen, coming straight out of French Brittany).

Through the years, I’ve done my best on becoming a real citizen of the world. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in different countries and these experiences have influenced me greatly both personally and professionally. I believe living in a country is the only way to really learn about the culture, the first step to fully appreciating the subtleties of language.
